Storm Boris Relief Fund
Storm Boris has caused widespread devastation across central and eastern Europe, killing more than a dozen people and leaving hundreds of thousands in states of emergency. Your donation to the Storm Boris Relief Fund will help bring immediate relief to survivors and power long-term recovery efforts led by local organizations.
Extreme rainfall dumped more than a month's worth of rain in parts of central and eastern Europe, leading to the worst flooding in decades in Austria, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Romania, and Slovakia. Multiple towns and cities are submerged under water and thousands are without power. Officials are warning that flood surges from Storm Boris remain a threat to the Polish city of Nysa, the Czech town of Litovlje, and elsewhere where rain is still falling.
All donations to this fund will support Storm Boris relief and recovery. Initially, funding will help first responders meet survivors' immediate needs for food, fuel, clean water, hygiene products, and shelter. The fund will then transition to support longer-term recovery efforts run primarily by local, vetted organizations in affected regions across central Europe.
