South Asia Flood Relief Fund

Communities across South Asia are reeling from the impacts of back-to-back floods and storms. From Kerala in the southern tip of India, to Sylhet and Feni in Bangladesh, to Punjab province of Pakistan, flooding and landslides have caused widespread destruction across the region, displacing or stranding millions and resulting in hundreds of lives lost. Your donation to the South Asia Flood Relief Fund will provide emergency relief and long-term support to the most-affected communities.

Devastating flooding is affecting multiple regions in Bangladesh, affecting millions of people already impacted by political unrest, violence, and displacement in some of the most vulnerable communities in the world. In Kerala, torrential rains have caused massive landslides that swept away entire villages, killing at least 158 people and leaving dozens more missing. And in Pakistan, at least 209 lives have already been lost this monsoon season, with additional devastating storms expected

All donations to this fund will support flood-affected communities in South Asia, with a priority focus on the most disadvantaged and overlooked communities. Initially, the fund will help first responders meet survivors' immediate needs for food, fuel, clean water, medicine, and shelter. It will also support longer-term recovery efforts run by local, vetted organizations in impacted areas, particularly those working with low-income, historically underserved communities.
